After all, they say the best things come in small packages—and we couldn’t agree more.

Nona Perkasa

Hi, my name is Ayu. I’m half Indonesian, half Belgian, and was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. My journey with Nona Perkasa began in 2021, but I’ve been an entrepreneur for much longer. My partner and I run a small, coconut-based ice cream business in Bali called Mad Pops Bali. For nearly 11 years, we’ve been churning out delicious, dairy-free coconut ice cream.

When COVID-19 hit in 2019, it brought immense challenges. With Bali’s streets empty of tourists and no government support, I realized the importance of creating something with global reach.

Pole dancing has been a passion of mine since 2014. Back then, the pole community in Bali was small, and buying clothes online—then having them shipped to Indonesia—was a struggle. This inspired me to ask, why not create my own? Indonesia is home to so many talented artisans, so I began researching sustainable, regenerated nylon fabrics.

Finding the right production team wasn’t easy—it took months of testing both small and large workshops before I found two local families who run small-scale operations. As a hands-on person, building strong relationships with these families was essential for me.

Three years into Nona Perkasa, I’m proud to have opened my first clothing store in Canggu, a vibrant and bustling part of Bali. Running two businesses on a tropical island has been a dream come true, though it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Navigating bureaucracy and overcoming obstacles took patience and persistence, but I’ve learned that every problem has a solution.

Despite how it may seem, Nona Perkasa is smaller than people think. I manage everything from the comfort of my home and wear many hats to keep things running. That said, I wouldn’t trade this lifestyle for anything—I get to spend plenty of time with my little "angry girl band," Punky and Rocky.

So next time you’re in Bali, come try on an outfit and cool down with our coconut-based ice cream!

Tatiana Activewear

I honestly couldn't imagine what my life would look like without Tatiana Active. I have learnt more within this business than I have ever learnt in school or uni. I have met more people here than I can ever imagine meeting through a normal office job. I have made so many costly mistakes that have sometimes left me in tears on the floor but I don’t think I’d have it any other way.

I’ve grown as a business owner, a wife, a friend, a sister, a boss, a photographer, a videographer and a pole dancer. And even though we've made it to 8 years in business, it hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows for the whole eight years BUT that taught me to pivot and adapt faster than I could ever imagine.

I genuinely feel alive when I am creating something that is innovative, unique and functional for my customers. I want to continue disrupting the pole industry by going to places that no other brand does, questioning everything and always seeking to reinvent the wheel. These are my values, what drives me and what I stand for - and this is reflected in our online reviews and what our customers have to say about us <3

FANNA WOMEN

I believe that femininity is synonymous with finding happiness in your own skin, doing whatever fills you with joy, and following your true self. Regardless of appearance, what truly matters is how you feel.

The essence of human existence loses its meaning when we neglect our connection with nature. Sustainable thinking has become an integral part of my life, and I find it challenging to comprehend those who don't embrace this mindset in their daily lives.

As a brand committed to sustainability and environmentally-friendly choices, our mission is to assist and guide you on your journey toward sustainable and eco-conscious thinking. We firmly believe that even small changes can make a significant impact.

Every FANNA piece is crafted for empowered women who love and accept themselves, or are in the process of doing so. It is designed for those who value and protect our environment, firmly believe in ethical manufacturing, and is inclusive to everyone, not just those who love sports.
