SS26: Spring Colour Trends

This seasons colour trends – PJ style!

There’s something in the air this SS26 that has us reaching for our summer wardrobe a little early. Like a collective, slightly exasperated come on… hurry up, let’s get to the good bit!

And the colour trends are fully in agreement, pushing retro-summer energy to the front of the queue before we’ve even hit peak warmth. After AW25’s calm, minimal, neutral reset, SS26 is bringing the fun back… but in a way that still feels wearable. The runways have been serving two moods at once: bold, unapologetic colour-block brights, interspersed with grounding easy shades that anchor the look. British Vogue calls out this exact push-pull - vibrant colour-blocking paired with black, white and chocolate as the steadying base.

What’s shifted is the styling. Instead of head-to-toe brights 24/7, this spring is about threading punchy shades through your staple neutrals - building combinations that feel fresh, wearable, and slightly unexpected. Think electric pops against creamy bases, sky blues grounded by richer browns, and colour pairings that look “wrong” on paper but somehow feel so right in real life.

Let's not forget "Cloud-dancer" was deemed Pantone's colour of the year, so of course this lofty tone is here to stay. Vogue even highlights the shift toward brown-and-cream as a softer, warmer alternative to classic monochrome, swapping stark black/white for richer, sunlit neutrals.

But let’s be real, we’ve had our time to slow down and feel grounded and now we’re recharged, replenished, and ready to tilt the balance toward the bright side. This season, keep the wearable base idea… but turn up the volume. Expect a few familiar shades from last year returning with more intensity with colour blocking becoming the main event.

Fire engine RED.

Burn, baby, BURN.

Call it cherry, call it chilli, either way it's going to add a delicious twist to your pole fit.

This bright, unapologetic red is destined to set the studios alight this spring, coming in sheer mesh, aysmmetrical styles and new string shorts just waiting to tie you up in knots. British Vogue flagged “tomato” as a standout shade for Spring/Summer 2026 and we can certainly see why. For pole dancers, it speaks to their confidence, power, and looks incredible under studio lights. Go on, fuel your passionate side. At Pole Junkie, red means GO GO GO!

Lemon Yellow

Butter yellow but ZESTY.

Last season’s sweet butter yellow had the internet in a chokehold… now we're squeezing in a little lemon zest for extra impact.

Staying true to SS26’s Colour POP energy, yellow is making a bigger, bolder comeback - showing up in every mood from soft and creamy to reflective metallics, neon brights, and even sequin-drenched shine. It’s the kind of shade that instantly lifts a look and feels like serrotonin you can wear.

This spring, treat yellow as your sunshine neutral - warm and surprisingly versatile, with just enough citrus bite to keep your fit from feeling too sweet. Pair your softer mellow tones with staple creams for that effortless golden-hour glow, or turn the volume up by mixing in some chic chartreuse for a fresh, fashion-forward clash that looks so intentional.

Metallic Brown

We're putting bronze first place.

Nope, the dubbed "Mocha Mousse" (colour of 2025) by Pantone isn't going anywhere but now this chocolate is all glowed up. No longer a comfort shade but rather a stand-out moment - this naked neutral is becoming the main event in SS26 with reflective fabrics and shimmering glitter touches that leave a goddess-worthy glow.

And honestly? Brown is the new butter yellow. You’ll see it on the runway, in the studio, and probably in your cart within five minutes. Naturally, we couldn’t resist bringing that bronzed energy into our PJ x RAD Exclusive Glitter palette. This Limited Edition release is lined, padding-free, and has us craving that galaxy chocolate more than a kid in a candy store.

RAD aren't the only ones putting bronze first place. Celebrating their 10-year anniversary, CXIX have brought back an OG style in a whole new metallic way. The iconic I S I S Goddess Set now in ethereal glossy fabrics will make you feel like you’ve been personally kissed by the sun gods.

Take-away is, if you're going to wear a neutral, it may as well dazzle.

Bring on the blues.

Float between air and water with both luminous and soft shades.

Whilst blue in 2025 was all about balance, this spring you'll see it coming through with a dynamic quality, paired with neutrals to bring a quiet vibrancy to your staple fits. It's airy freshness will combine seamlessly with your darker tones. Trust us, browns and blue are the unexpected pairing you're going to want to wear all spring.

We’re dipping our toes into every shade of the blue spectrum this year. Go full eccentric with sequin-drenched, glittery textures that will blind your instructor, or keep it effortless with soft sky blue, smooth fabrics, and breathable mesh cut-outs for that'll keep you cool when the moves are hot hot hot.

Summer Clouds

The white and grey accompaniments to your brights.

Now for the clean canvas that makes those attention-grabbing colour-pop tones hit even harder, and no, we’re not just talking white.

We’re calling this base spectrum "Summer Clouds" - the many neutrals you can still find soaring during the peak of summer. Think misty greys, granite stone, soft silver, and creamy off-whites, all the airy, elevated tones that work together to create a lofty, dream-like look. Pantone didn't announce the shade "Cloud Dancer" colour of the year for nothing, it embodys clarity, openness and allows your styling creativity to take full flight.

The perfect palette cleanser… and the ultimate backdrop for your brights.

So yes, there’s something for everyone this SS26 season. It’s not about choosing between minimal and maximal, but instead it's about mixing them. Grab your colour-block brights with your creamy, calming staples, and combine the best of both worlds. Do they clash? Do they “not go”? Says who.

You decide what colour combos look good and we can’t wait to see what you create.
